Clay Kit - Video Demonstrations

What you need to know about clay.

Clay Does and Don’ts: Also watch the video

Clay is easy to work with if you keep a few things in mind.

Learn to use clay tools and build a slab project

In this demonstration you will learn how to use all the tools in your kit all while making a slab pencil holder. The fun part about this video is that you can also make a cup or larger project using the same instructions. There is more, you will learn a technique call Mishima, this is where you inlay underglaze into impressions in the clay you make with your tools.

Easy Little Bird Sculpture

Young children will be able to create a fun little bird with this demonstration. They can make a family of birds or just one. Let their imagination go wild with any additions or colors they choose. Underglazes are AP Non-Toxic so they are all classroom safe however, care should be taken to make sure children do not ingest underglaze or clay.
