Class Enrollment

All classes require advance enrollment/registration at: https://firemeupceramics.com/. Tuition and fees must be paid at the time of enrollment. For questions about enrolling, please call us at: 785-766-4667 or email: info@firemeupceramics.com

• Tuition is due in full at time of class registration.

• Full payment is required to reserve a class spot.


Cancellation, Drop and Refund Policy

If a student drops or cancels an event, class or workshop seven days or more before it begins, a 15% processing fee will be assessed, and a refund issued. If it is less than seven days before the first day of the event, class or workshop, no refund will be given. 

• Cancellations must be made to info@firemeupceramics.com 

         Cancellations should not be made to Facebook, phone or by personal text.

• Fire Me Up Ceramics & Fine Art Studios, LLC will not issue any refund or credit for no-shows. 

• Class sessions are not prorated.


Instructor Illness or Inclement Weather -  Cancellation

In the event of inclement weather during the school year, Fire Me Up Ceramics & Fine Art Studios, LLC will cancel classes if the local USD School Districts cancels school or afterschool activities. All weather-related cancelations will be listed on the WIBW website and posted on WIBW channel 13 in the closings banner. If the class is canceled due to instructor illness or inclement weather, every effort will be made to schedule a makeup session.


Insufficient enrollment - Class Cancellation

The first day of each class will be held to determine if there is sufficient enrollment. If a class is canceled because of insufficient enrollment, the impacted students will be contacted to determine if they would prefer a class transfer or refund. If a class is canceled by Fire Me Up Ceramics & Fine Art Studios, LLC due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be issued. Class transfers because of insufficient enrollment will result in a refund of the difference in price or no extra charge if the price of the new class is greater. Please allow up to two weeks for a refund. 


Absences

It is not always possible to provide make-up sessions for missed-classes and make up sessions for missed classes are at the discretion of the instructor. However, all students are welcome to use the studio during open-studio hours. 


Transfers

Transfers to another event, class or workshop are allowed within the first two weeks of classes if space is available and payment of the difference in price is due at the time of transfer.  


Private Tutoring

We ask that a minimum of 48-hours notice be given to cancel a session. If so, a full refund will be given.


Supplies for Classes

Most classes require the individual to provide materials and tools. Where applicable, a supply list will be furnished either on the course description webpage or on the first day of class. Fire Me Up Ceramics provides the instruction, equipment, glaze and firing.


Supplies for Events and Workshops

Supplies for events and workshops are included in the price unless otherwise noted in the registration description. 


Safety

Basic safety procedures will be explained at the beginning of each course and must be strictly adhered to. Any further questions about procedure or use of equipment may be addressed to any instructor or staff member.


Discipline

If a student does not follow classroom procedures, safety protocols and/or is disruptive to their class: the participant, parent or guardian will be notified and appropriate discipline measures will be taken that could include expulsion from the camp, event, class or workshop with no refund issued.


Open-studio hours reflect hours that Fire Me Up Ceramics has staff members present and that classes are not in-session. Hours may change as courses are added or removed from the schedule. 

 

Studio members have unlimited access to the studio, regardless of date or staff presence.
